WHAT IS THE IPHONE?

If you’re seriously wanting to know the answer to this this question, we can only presume you’ve been living in a cave for the past few months! As we all know, the iPhone is the latest mobile phone to hit the market, this 1st to be manufactured by Apple!
WHAT’S SO GOOD ABOUT THE IPHONE?
- The iPhone comes with a large touchscreen meaning there is no need for fiddly buttons like conventional mobile phones.
- The screen is multi sensitive meaning it can be operated by two fingers, allowing you to zoom in an out of photographs.
- The iPhone doubles up as an MP3 player with either 4Gb or 8Gb hard drive allowing you to store your favourite music or movies.
- The inclusion of a digital camera means you can take photographs anywhere or anytime.
- The Wi-Fi connectivity and software including YouTube, Google Maps and the Safari internet browser allows you to browser the internet and pickup emails whenever you come across a hotspot.
WHAT’S SO BAD ABOUT THE IPHONE?There are disappointments with the iphone which include the absence of instant-messaging and office-suite applications. Others problems are only apparent once you start using the iphone;
- it can get warm with constant use
- you’ll need to wipe off smudges frequently
- iffy predictive text entry
It’s available in the UK from November 9, but the most prudent course would be to wait for the next version anyway. Hopefully the next generation iphone will work out some of the kinks, and we hope, be tied to a faster wireless network. But it’s hard to be patient once you’ve seen one - the future of mobile devices is here and it’s called an iphone.
